Kuwait Towers

Kuwait’s most famous landmark, the Kuwait Towers, with their distinctive blue-green ‘sequins’, are worth a visit for the prospect of sea and city that they afford. The Kuwait Towers are a group of three slender towers in Kuwait City, standing on a promontory into the Persian Gulf.  The towers are the most attractive place to visit in Kuwait.  A great and unique structure, nothing of the kind seen elsewhere. Close to the Ibis Sharq Hotel, but needs a taxi to get there since the temp was 120 degrees average daytime. A collection of photographs show how the so-called ‘barbarian invaders’ tried to destroy the symbol of Kuwait during the Iraqi invasion.
